FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed head comprises body with drill arranged at its front. There is a groove arranged behind said drill communicated with said body via inner channel. The latter allows removal of chips towards rear side. To drill hard materials, e.g. titanium, head front and center comprises guide drill extending beyond front drill by 1% to 20% of the distance between central axis and outer side edge of the drill, most distant from said axis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
