FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process of mixing the diluting air with the main hot flow in gas turbine combustion system is implemented in the gas turbine including the compressor, first combustion chamber connected downstream with the compressor, while hot gases of the first combustion chamber are forced into the mid turbine or into the second combustion chamber. Second combustion chamber hot gases are fed into auxiliary turbine or directly into power recovery system. Note here that diluting air is injected into the first combustion chamber while diluting air injection direction is either opposed or aligned with the initial swirling flow direction inside the first combustion chamber. Invention discloses also the diluting air nozzle and combustion chamber for implementation of the process.
EFFECT: decreased CO emission.
