FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: cascade thrust reverser comprises front frame with the set of grates, cowl, flaps and power cylinders. Said coal has outer panel and inner diaphragm and is arranged to displace between forward thrust position whereat front panel and inner diaphragm close said grates and reverse thrust position whereat both open said grates. Ring-like diaphragm abuts on said front frame and radially inside said grates when cowl stays at forward thrust position. Flaps are set at said diaphragm to turn between forward thrust position whereat they allow cold air circulation towards reverser rear side and reverse thrust position whereat their force said cold air towards said grates. Power cylinders make cowl displacement between forward and reverse thrust positions. Note here front ends of said power cylinders are fitted at nacelle fixed section while rear ends are arranged at diaphragm front edge. Diaphragm has front edge bent inside said nacelle to support connectors for attachment of rear ends of power cylinders. Another invention of this set relates to bypass turbojet nacelle equipped with aforesaid device.
EFFECT: decreased depth of moving cowl.
