FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: thrust reverser contains the front part made by the assembly containing front frame and hood, and rear part comprising nozzle with variable cross-section being continuation of the said hood. The hood is made with possibility of translational movement from retracted position, where the nozzle ensures aerodynamic continuity of the hood to at least one extended position resulting in change of the nozzle cross-section, and back. Section of the front frame is made with possibility of translational movement together with the hood during movement of the said hood to the position resulting in change of the nozzle cross-section. The front frame contains the overlapping panel ensuring overlapping with fan casing, and deflecting edge. The overlapping panel and section of the deflecting edge are made with possibility of translational movement together with the hood during movement of the said hood to the position resulting in change of the nozzle cross-section. Another invention of the group relates to the nacelle containing the thrust reverser and fan casing, containing elongated element, located before the front frame along the flow direction, and made with possibility of inclusion of the overlapping panel section. During change of the nozzle cross-section the hold is moved to the position resulting in change of the nozzle cross-section together with section of the front frame.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures increased tightness of the channel between the hood and front frame.
