FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, particularly, to ICEs with compression or detonation ignition of the working fluid. This invention consists in that the con rod ends are coupled with the pistons while their opposite ends are engaged with the inclined disc by means of spherical joints. The inclined disc houses the bushes fitted via square-sided spline centred by the tooth side surfaces. Intake cylinders are fitted in the housing and shifted in phase relative to the working cylinders through 90 degrees. Chambers of intake cylinders are communicated in pairs with the intake openings of the working cylinders in the direction of shaft revolution. The engine with compression self-ignition is provided with the limiters of combustion chamber pressure with resilient elements that feature the adjustable compression force. The compression force adjusting mechanism is provided with hydraulic cylinders with pistons interconnected and connected with the adjusting hydraulic cylinder chamber that make a closed volume filled with fluid for automatic and controlled compression force adjustment.
EFFECT: longer life, higher engine efficiency.
