FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to screw machinery in form of sliding vice. The sliding vice contains a shaft with thread with pole making a rotating pair, movable jaw with pole making a sliding pair, and with shaft making screw kinematic pair. On the shaft additional thread is made, on it the additional jaw is installed with pole making the sliding pair and with shaft - screw kinematic pair. Both jaws have the same thread direction, wherein to ensure different displacement of jaws during their movement upon the shaft rotation, the jaw thread is made with ascending angle that differs from the ascending angle of thread of the additional jaw.

EFFECT: increased force created between the jaws.
