FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and devices to measure gravity gradient, which may be used during exploration of natural resources. Substance: gradient meter comprises: the first accelerometer for generation of the first acceleration signal; the second accelerometer that is distant from the first accelerometer and is designed to generate the second acceleration signal; the first monitoring device with available spatial ratio with the first accelerometer and designed to detect movement of the second accelerometer relative to the first accelerometer and generation of the first correction signal, which is representation of the detected movement; a controller made as capable of modification of the second acceleration signal on the basis of the first correction signal, so that the gravity gradient could be determined using the first acceleration signal and the second acceleration signal. Equipment may be installed on a vehicle.
EFFECT: provision of mobility, accuracy and efficiency of gravity gradient measurements.
