FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gradiometer has first, second, third and fourth accelerometers 1, 2, 3, 4 arranged at equal distances along periphery of circle which sensitivity axes pass along tangent line to circle. First accelerometer is placed opposite to second accelerometer and third accelerometer is located in opposition to fourth accelerometer. While operational accelerometers rotate about their axes 6 normal to circle which passes through its center. Summing amplifier receives output signals of accelerometers and combines them in such manner that output signals of common mode are nullified and thus output signal of gradiometer is formed. One or more feedback circuits pass from output of gradiometer to one or more accelerometers to correct errors. Invention presents conception of balancing of any feedback signal so that it is fed after corresponding division, if necessary, not to one accelerometer but to two or more accelerometers with signs changed properly to opposite signs. EFFECT: improved spatial resolution. 10 cl, 5 dwg
