FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: system of hydraulic drive protection contains hydraulic tank (1), pump (2), shutdown device (7) installed in discharge hydraulic line (3), and lid (24). The shutdown device contains casing with output cavity; input, output and drain unions, spring loaded plunger (13) and stop (12). Input cavity of the spring loaded plunger is connected with pump, its axial channel is connected with output cavity, and radial holes and ring groove on its external surface are connected. Stop and lid are made as hemispherical surfaces, contain elastic membranes (27, 28) and create tight chamber (23) to absorb energy of the impact wave during the water hammer. One membrane is fixedly connected with rod of the spring loaded plunger valve, and another membrane is connected with safety plates located at its both sides. Between the membranes a ring with discharge union is installed to fill the chamber with gas.

EFFECT: increased reliability and fast response of system of hydraulic drive protection.
