FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for producing fucose and fucose-containing hydrolysates from brown algae. The method for producing fucose and fucose-containing hydrolysates from brown algae consists in the fact that ground brown alga of the genus Fucus is filled with ethanol, extracted; the extract is separated; the processed alga is extracted with hydrochloric acid solution; the extract is concentrated, neutralised, boiled off to produce a concentrate containing polysaccharide-1, from which fucoidan (F1) is deposited; after F1 is separated, the processed alga is twice extracted with hot water; the extracts are combined and concentrated; the produced concentrate is boiled off, and polysaccharide-2 is produced; ph is reduced to 2.0-2.5; precipitated polymannuronic acid is separated by centrifugation; the supernatant is neutralised, and fucoidan (F2) is deposited with ethanol; the deposit is washed in ethanol and dried; both fractions F1 and F2 are combined and dissolved in distilled water; the fucoidan solution is subject to dialysis; thereafter, fucoidan is deposited with two amounts of ethanol; the deposit is washed in ethanol twice, dried; the dried fucoidan is dissolved in distilled water and subject to enzymatic hydrolysis; produced fucose is dried; the fucose-containing hydrolysates are produced by dissolving fucoidan in distilled water and subject to enzymatic hydrolysis; the produced fucose-containing hydrolysates are dried in certain environment.

EFFECT: method enables manufacturing the high-yield end product from available raw materials.
