FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of kelp processing. Raw or frozen kelp is hydrolysed by hydrochloric acid water solution, extract is drained off and put to water-soluble polysaccharides extraction by ethanol sedimentation. The rest is extracted by 96% ethanol to obtain mixture, containing end products, obtained spirit extract is concentrated. Mixture of free fatty acids, sterine, derivate colourants is extracted from concentrate by hexane solvent. After that mixture of polyphenol compounds and colourants is extracted by dichloromethane or chloroform. High purity end products are extracted on silica gel at lowered pressure with help of column chromatography. Free fatty acids, sterols, chlorophyllous and carotinoid derivates are extracted by hexane extract. Dichloromethane or chloroform extract are used for producing fine complex of polyphenol compounds. Kelp left after spirit extraction is dried on air and used for alginic acids salts producing.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain chemically different high purity biologically active substances free fatty acids, polyphenol compounds, sterols, colourants derivates, water-soluble polysaccharides, alginic acids salts with high yields.
