SUBSTANCE: invention relates to display devices and control methods therefor. A display device is disclosed. The device comprises a communication unit configured to communicate with a plurality of client terminals and a tuner configured to receive a broadcast signal. The device also includes a display unit configured to display an image corresponding to the broadcast signal and a data storage unit configured to store browsing history relating to each of the plurality of client terminals. The device also includes a processor configured to control the communication unit for transmitting to the client terminal user interface (UI) information corresponding to the client terminal, based on the stored browsing history relating to the client terminal.
EFFECT: improved access for client terminal users to the required information based on use of browsing history.
