SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for providing information performed by a display device, including: receiving, at least, one fragment of the broadcast program information; receiving, at least, one of the browsing history information that is associated with, at least, one piece of content that is viewed prior to the predetermined point in time, and recording information that is associated with, at least, one piece of content that is recorded prior to the predetermined point in time; and displaying, at least, one fragment of the broadcast program information from, at least, one broadcast program information fragment that corresponds to the predetermined point in time, in the first area of the display device on the basis of the predetermined point in time, and displaying, at least, one of the background view information and entry information in the second area of the display device based on the predefined point in time.
EFFECT: ability for the user to easily find and display content via an intelligent TV.
