FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: method for managing a static data structure of legacy data modelling software in a dynamic class loader environment, which comprises a variable plurality of software bundles. The legacy data modelling software is capable of using a registry associating external type identifiers with one data model class to create an in-memory representation of the data model class. The method comprises constructing a first registry for the first one of the plurality of software bundles; the first registry comprises a set of external type identifiers corresponding to the first software bundle, and wherein the first registry associates each member of the set of external type identifiers with one data model class; instructing the legacy data modelling software to use the constructed first registry when creating the in-memory representation of the data model class represented by a member of the set of external type identifiers corresponding to the first software bundle, wherein the initial plurality of software bundles may comprise different versions of a specific software bundle.

EFFECT: efficient management of a static data structure of legacy software in dynamic class loader environments.
