FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises phytochemical analysis of plants. In identifying the main active ingredients (MAI) of 2 classes (class of phenol carbonic acids, class of higher fatty acids) and ascorbic acid and auxiliary active substances (AAS) of 2-3 classes (class of aromatic carboxylic acids, class of lipid acids, class of triterpene acids, class of sesquiterpene acids, class of organic acids, and class of tannins), nicotinic acid and canavanine, the high (≥40%) is predicted, in identifying MAI of 1-2 classes and ascorbic acid and AAS of 1-2 classes (class of aromatic carboxylic acids, class of lipid acids, class of triterpene acids, class of organic acids, and class of tannins) - medium (20-39%), and in the presence/absence of ascorbic acid and AAS of 0-2 class (class of aromatic carboxylic acids, class of triterpene acids, and class of organic acids) - low/zero (19%-0) degree of trematocidial activity.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to carry out screening among meadow plants for trematocidial activity for selection with a view to introduction into the foci of fascioliasis invasion.
