SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric vehicles. Power exchange station for electric vehicles comprises the power output, the port of data exchange for determination of vehicle ability to be charge with DC and/or AC, and multiple power sources. The latter include DC and AC sources and power controller. Said power exchange station comprises the controlled switch for connection of power output to whatever power source. Said controller controls the switch proceeding from defined determination. Claimed process comprises the determination if the electric vehicle connected to said power output can be d with DC and/or AC and the connection of power output to appropriate power input.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of charging.
