The data processing device contains port for data exchange with energy exchange station and port for data exchange with configuring device. The configuring device contains port for data exchange with data processing device, and user interface. The energy exchange station provides information about a vehicle to data processing device, and when there is no information carries out test on a vehicle or on its battery to determine characteristics. The method for energy exchange with electric driven vehicle includes receiving information about a vehicle and returning optimised energy exchange settings to the station based on acquired information about vehicle. Energy exchange with vehicle takes place in accordance with energy exchange settings.
