SUBSTANCE: inertial thickener comprises a housing, in which there are fixed helical guides, a perforated filter, a loading device, a device for removing the filtrate and thickened fraction. The filter is mounted from the perforated sections connected successively and alternately. The first section is made of two perforated sub-sections, one of which is mounted of two large scalenous perforated triangles connected with their bases to the lateral sides of the large equilateral perforated trapezium, and the second perforated sub-section is assembled from a small equilateral perforated trapezium, which lateral sides are connected to two small scalenous perforated triangles with their smaller lateral sides, the bases of which are equal to large lateral sides of the perforated triangles of the first perforated sub-section, which connect the perforated sub-sections to each other.

EFFECT: increase in productivity, increase in technological capabilities of the device.
