FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in light-emitting device connected to electric energy source comprised of electric energy converter, switching-on rectifier with capacitive filter, voltage stabilizer, protection unit with parallel power key and inductance coil connected in series, and parallel-serial circuits of light-emitting elements, novelty consists in the fact that power key with inductance coil are connected in series to all light-emitting elements and control algorithm ensures protection of the device against all destructive impacts. Power key control algorithm consists in limitation of maximum pulse duty factor at the level of 0.5 within switching-on interval, and upon reaching of steady operating conditions the control signal is shaped by pulse-width modulation.
EFFECT: improved reliability, reduced losses and improved dynamic indicators such as overvoltage level transient process interval at destructive impact and at connection of light-emitting diodes.
