FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a facility for development of a permanent magnetic field, a reservoir to insert a sample within the specified permanent magnetic field, a facility for excitation of measured radio frequency magnetization in a sample placed into the specified reservoir to hold the sample, at working frequency, determined by the specified permanent magnetic field, a facility for measurement of a radio frequency signal carried out with an excited sample, and a facility to determine water content in a sample on the basis of the radio frequency signal. According to this invention, the reservoir for holding the sample may include a sample, the volume of which makes at least 0.5 dm3, and the facility to develop a permanent magnetic field comprises a resistive electromagnet, which is made as capable of creating a permanent magnetic field corresponding to the working frequency from 400 to 2000 kHz.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility to measure strongly bound water in samples of dry mass, having large volume, at low Larmor frequency.
