FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: scope of application: for measurement of water content based on nuclear magnetic resonance. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that a specimen is subject to action of a direct-current magnetic field; the specimen under action of the direct-current magnetic field is subject to action of sequence of excitation pulses on radio frequency with an interval between pulses for excitation of hydrogen nuclei, and an NMR signal of excited hydrogen nuclei is measured; with that, time of spin-lattice relaxation is assessed for each specimen based on response to sequence of excitation pulses, and interval between pulses is controlled as minimum at maintenance of interval between pulses, which excides the assessed time of spin-lattice relaxation.
EFFECT: achievement of a possibility of optimisation of pulse repetition frequency for different humidity levels of the specimen.
