FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the preliminary oxidation in the DFF-type furnace. Note here that flat section is subjected at the section of preliminary oxidation in the DFF-type furnace to oxidative medium composed by spraying of oxygen-containing gas flow in the burner flame to produce the FeO cover ply. Note here that reducing or neutral atmosphere prevails beyond said the preliminary oxidation in the DFF-type furnace section. Then, the flat section heated to cure temperature of 600-1100°C is subjected to recrystallisation annealing in reducing atmosphere of FeO. Dew point of the latter is maintained by the feed of moisture at -40°C to +25°C in the medium containing ≤100% N2 and dew point of -80°C to -25°C and cooled to the melt entry temperature of 420-780°C and carried there through.
EFFECT: optimum wetting and adhesion of coating produced by dipping in the melt.
