FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: fluid flow is guided through an entry port to deflecting mechanism. Distribution of fluid flow is set across deflecting mechanism. Distribution of fluid flow is changed in response to change in fluid characteristic in time. In response fluid flow is changed through the downstream unit of viscosity switch thus changing circuit of fluid flow in the downstream vortex unit. In the method selection is made against fluid characteristic such as viscosity, density, speed rate, consumption rate, etc. The deflecting mechanism may be adopted for various shapes, for example of divergent port, profile elements along the deflecting mechanism or curved section in the deflecting mechanism port. The deflecting mechanism may include cavities formed in the port wall and obstacles passing away from the port wall, fluid diodes, fluid Tesla diodes, chicane or sudden drops in the port cross-section.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of control for fluid flow.
