FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a rotating drum made of dielectric, electrode with alternating polarity, feeding mechanism, receiving tanks for separated products. The drum is oriented horizontally and placed inside the hollow stator shaped as a horseshoe in cross-section, which is fixed rigidly and separated into several separation zones along the material path, each of the above zones has its system of electrodes with alternating polarity with a variable pitch. Top and bottom ends of the stator are shifted in cross-section to the angle of 10° from its vertical axis. Receiving tanks for separated large and fine fractions are placed in pairs in parallel to each other inside the rotating drum in each separation zone. Longitudinal near ends of each pair are interconnected and placed under the top end of the stator. Large fraction receiving tanks are equipped with outputs intended to discharge grains out of the drum, while fine fraction receiving tanks are equipped with outputs intended the material to the next separation zone. The fine fraction receiving tank placed in the last separation zone is equipped with outputs intended to discharge grains out of the drum.
EFFECT: improved quality of separation at reduced energy costs and increased productivity.
