FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to gear shifting. In compliance with claimed invention, the upshifting to required gear is, first, controlled by uncoupling of the transmission control disengaging element. Then, the engine rpm is decreased to required gear timed rpm to decrease the torque at the engine driven shaft. Now, hydraulics is used to engage with engaging element by displacement of the servo system which actuates said control element. Finally, maximum torque at said element is developed to engage completely said control element.
EFFECT: higher serviceability of transmission at failures.
