FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: multiband mirror antenna comprises coaxially arranged the main parabolic mirror, a secondary reflector and the first radiator. The secondary reflector is in the form of a convex-concave body of revolution, which is bounded by a hyperbolic mirror with a convex side in the direction of the first radiator, and with an opposite concave side - by a small parabolic mirror, at the focus of which there is the second radiator, thereby forming, with the small parabolic mirror, a single-mirror arrangement with direct feed. The first radiator together with the main parabolic mirror and the hyperbolic mirror of the secondary reflector forms a Cassegrain arrangement.
EFFECT: greater number of operating frequency bands of the mirror antenna, which provides the co-directivity of main beams in all and each operating frequency band, while enabling the formation of the proximate width of the main beam in multiple operating frequency bands, while limiting shading of the main mirror and eliminating parasitic cross-coupling of radiators.
