FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information input devices and may be used to determine position of an electrostatic stylus within a capacitance contact detector. Systems are described to transmit and receive signals in an active stylus for a capacitance contact detector, for which systems have at least one circuit to accept current from an electrode and to transmit voltage to an electrode. Systems include components to receive current in reception mode, a switch and a circuit of multi-mode source of power supply, having at least one transformer and a diode, for which the diode is connected to the transformer. In the transmission mode there is a facility for electric insulation of at least some components made as capable of receiving current in reception mode, from voltage produced on parasitic capacitance. In the reception mode there is a facility for electric insulation of at least some components made as capable of receiving current in reception mode, from transformer inductance in a circuit of a multi-mode source of power supply.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of electrostatic stylus position detection within a capacitance contact detector.
