RE-SEALED FLEXIBLE PACKAGE AND METHODS OF ITS MANUFACTURE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B65B9/20 B65B61/18 B65D75/58

Abstract RU 2574489 C2

FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: package comprises a flexible film 12 determining an internal space for the contents and having a first pair of opposite edge portions forming the first 26 seal, a second pair of opposite edge portions forming the second 28 seal, and a third pair of opposite edge portions forming the longitudinal 24 seal extending from the first seal to the second seal, the marks on the flexible film determining a hole 36 which leads into the internal space for the contents after initial opening, and an extended closure layer 14 extending along the third edge portions from the first seal to the second and above the marks. The package also comprises a self-adhesive material located between the film and the closure layer comprising non-adhesive gripping area 40 providing the disconnection of at least a portion of the closure layer from the film to form a hole leading into the internal space for the contents. The method of flow packaging products in a series of packages comprises marking on a portion of a continuous tape of flexible film using a self-adhesive material the application of the continuous closure layer along the longitudinal axis on a portion of the width of the tape, forming a continuous longitudinal seal from the first pair of opposite edges of the tape, forming a first seal from the second pair of opposite edges and the second seal from the second pair of opposing edges, and forming non-adhesive gripping area proximate one of the first and second seals. The laminate material for manufacturing packages comprises a continuous tape of flexible film, a continuous closure layer using a self-adhesive material applied on a part of the width of the tape along the longitudinal axis. At that, out of the tape and the closure layer a series of performs is formed, forming the package, on tape of each preform forming the package, the first marking is made, which subsequently forms a hole in the package when the closure layer is separated from the tape, and each preform comprises a non-adhesive gripping area, subsequently partially labelled with the second marking, in the transition area between adjacent preforms. The method of flow packaging products in a series of packages comprises feeding a continuous tape of the film, the longitudinal edges of which are spaced apart by a predetermined width, then the continuous closure layer is connected to the tape not across the predetermined width, the adhesive material is placed between the closure layer and the tape, the tape is labelled, corresponding the closure layer to designate a hole in the tape after initial opening as a result of removal of the closure layer. Then the packaged products are placed in a series of packages, the tape with the closure layer is wrapped around the products, the longitudinal seal is formed along the longitudinal edges, and the front and rear seals between the adjacent packages, where the closure layer extends from the front to the rear seal and between the longitudinal edges of the tape. In another embodiment, the flexible film package comprises a flexible film having two opposite edge portions forming the longitudinal seal extending from the first end seal to the second, the marks on the film to indicate the hole in the package after the initial opening, the extended closure layer extending along the edge portions from the first end seal to the second and over the marking, and the self-adhesive material located between the film and the closure layer. This closure layer comprises a non-adhesive gripping area to detach it from the film and opening the hole. The method of manufacturing the flexible package comprises marking on the portion of a continuous tape of the flexible film, application using the self-adhesive material of the continuous closure layer along the longitudinal axis on the portion of the width of the tape, forming a continuous longitudinal seal on the two opposite edges of the tape, forming a first and second end seals and a non-adhesive gripping area on the first end of the package.

EFFECT: ease of use and simplification of manufacturing.
