FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises the deformation of airfoil torsion box with the help of control system equipped with sensors, actuators and computer. Note here that the airfoil end section is twisted and bent to vary the distribution of local angles of attack of cross-sections and the distribution of torsion box flexures in span. For this the leading and trailing wing spars are bent in their planes. The actuator is used to vary the spacing between the end of appropriate wing spar flange and the end of resilient drive. Through bore is made inside the front and rear wing spar top and bottom flanges to accommodate the bar or cable of high-strength threads. Said resilient element is rigidly fitted in the spar flange at the front of deformable section while its opposite end is coupled with the drive.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of control over aerodynamic loads.
