FIELD: aircrafts.

SUBSTANCE: active wing tip, including a deflected wing tip shaft embedded in the wing and rotated by a drive. The connection of the wingtip to the wing is made flexible, slit-free and includes a frame of SDS cells and power ribs with elastomeric filler and fabric glued to it from above and below, forming a wing profile on the section of flexible slit-free connection between the ends of the wing and the wingtip. The wing ends are located parallel to the velocity vector of the incoming flow. The SDS cell consists of central, support and peripheral elements. The frame is made of two parts, the front along the incoming flow, located in front of the shaft, and the rear along the incoming flow, located behind the shaft, and the power ribs at the docking point in the shaft area are connected by overlays from above and below.

EFFECT: invention enables to reduce the noise level and improving aerodynamic quality, increasing the weight return of the structure and flight safety, in particular, by increasing the efficiency of controls based on the implementation of the concept of active aeroelasticity.
