FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device contains a casing-cylinder, a cylinder-striker installed with a possibility of movement inside the casing-cylinder, a piston-striker, installed with a possibility of movement inside the cylinder-striker, and a shank. The casing-cylinder and the cylinder-striker make an air distributing assembly with channels and holes for compressed air supply and removal. The strikers have working and idle cavities. The working cavity of the piston-striker is connected by a channel, made on the internal surface of the cylinder-striker, with the idle cavity of the cylinder-striker via the hole in the cylinder-striker. The idle cavity of the cylinder-striker is connected by a channel made in the casing-cylinder, with the working cavity of the cylinder-striker via the holes in the casing-cylinder. The holes for compressed air supply and removal are made in the casing of the casing-cylinder and the cylinder-striker at a distance from each other equal to the half of the strikers stroke. On the external surface of the cylinder-striker three ring grooves are made. One groove is made at the end of the bottom part, the second groove is at the level of the hole for compressed air supply at the extreme idle position of the cylinder-striker, and the third groove is at the distance of the striker stroke from the second groove. On the external surface of the cylinder-striker from the second groove a channel is made with the length equal to the half of the strikers stroke, from the third groove a channel is made with the length below the half of the strikers stroke, and on the internal surface of the casing-cylinder from the hole for compressed air supply a channel is made with the length below the half of the strikers stroke.

EFFECT: increased operation reliability, simplified device design, increased impact power, and creation of uniform impact loads.
