FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: depending on the required degree of cryptographic protection, public information is encrypted at the transmitting side via modulo 2 bitwise summation with an encryption gamma and data are decrypted at the receiving side, wherein at the transmitting and receiving sides, respectively, interchangeable irreducible polynomials of the order n are generated and brought into conformity with the key, said polynomials being selected from primitive polynomials and corresponding Galois field extensions GF(2q)n and based on which the linear recurrent shift register (LRSR) which generates the encryption gamma is reprogrammed.
EFFECT: improved cryptographic protection of information.
