SUBSTANCE: claimed process consists in the application of power supply features the complex shape of volt-amps curve with at least one working section described by fractional rational function. Note here that, first, the welding is performed at the current and voltage corresponding to the stiff or dropping volt-amps curve and, then, it is switched to the working section of said curve described by fractional rational function. Said switchover is conducted at the curve point corresponding to preset power at the working section which is kept invariable then.

EFFECT: higher quality of welds.
