SUBSTANCE: wear assembly of excavator contains adapter with projecting part, having transverse size; wear element installed on the adapter with possibility of their disconnection and having casing with receiving cavity, made with possibility to receive the projecting part of the adapter. The wear element additionally includes pair of installation eye lugs extended from the casing. Each eye lug has transverse size, top surface, and bottom surface, made converging. Transverse size of each eye lug is from 0.25 to 0.4 of transverse size of the projecting part. The wear element for the wear assembly of the excavator containing casing with receiving cavity, having transverse size; pair of installation eye lugs extended from the casing, at that each of the installation eye lugs has transverse size. Each installation eye lug has top surface, and bottom surface, made converging. Transverse size of each installation eye lug is from 0.25 to 0.4 of transverse size of the receiving cavity.
