SUBSTANCE: stack of a plurality of cellulose-containing absorbent towels for the dispensing device, and the towels are separable at dispensing. The stack is compressed to a predetermined density, depending on the choice of the material. The towels are manufactured from a nonwoven material, at that the stack has a density of at least 0.20 g/cm3, and preferably greater than 0.25 g/cm3, and more preferably greater than 0.32 g/cm3. The towels are manufactured using dewatering technology without compression, and the stack has a density of at least 0.20 g/cm3, and preferably greater than 0.25 g/cm3, and more preferably greater than 0.32 g/cm3. The towels are manufactured by wet creping, at that the density of the stack is at least 0.30 g/cm3, and preferably greater than 0.40 g/cm3, and more preferably greater than 0.50 g/cm3. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a stack and to the transportation package.
EFFECT: decrease in the volume of stacks of towels is ensured, without deterioration of characteristics of dispensing and characteristics of the towels.
