FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to downhole plunger pumps with lower drives to be applied in extraction of thick oil, brines, etc. Proposed pump comprises cylinder connected with tubing accommodating the hollow piston with the channel of funnel-shape section expanding towards intake end and valve shutoff mechanism fitted in piston channel to stop the latter. Cylinder outlet is closed by pressure valve. Note here that a closed space is arranged between both valves to vary in operation. Said hollow piston on intake end is connected with receiver engaged with rotation-to-translation converter. The latter is engaged with the drive composed o engine, reduction gear and hydraulic protection. Said rotation-to-translation converter is composed of the cylinder that has a closed helical groove for rod fitted in pipe connected with said receiver to fit in.
EFFECT: enhanced performances, simplified erection and dismantling.
