FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: remote control device is configured to be connected to a portable control device both mechanically and electrically. The portable control device is configured to receive signals from the remote control device when buttons are pressed by an user. The remote control device has the set of raised buttons which provide tactile feedback, which enables the user to feel a tactile sensation when pressing buttons. The remote control device and the portable communication device are connected to a programmable multimedia controller via a wireless two-way connection. The programmable multimedia controller is mated and provides interaction with audio, video and telephone devices, data processing and safety means, and drive or relay controlled devices. The remote control device and the portable communication device enable the user to select various functions relating to components interfaced with the programmable multimedia controller. The second backup radio receiver provides an auxiliary interface between a component and the portable communication device.

EFFECT: enabling the use of a backup communication channel when sharing a portable communication device with a system and allocation of the load relating to data transmission between components.
