FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: drive box of the turbine machine to rotate AC alternator or pump contains transmission shaft, directed during rotation in bearing, and holding pinion engaged with one drive pinion during rotation. One of the bearings is roller bearing installed inside the pinion, and in radial plane containing the pinion and drive pinion. The other bearing is journal bearing receiving the oscillation forces of the transmission shaft. The other invention relates to the turbine jet or turbo-propeller engine containing said drive box.
EFFECT: group of inventions reduces the box weight due to reduced weight and size of the journal bearing.
