SUBSTANCE: tire (1 comprises the groove with multiple ledges (500) made at its bottom (50 B2). Ledges (500) extend from one groove sidewall (50B1) to opposite sidewall (50B3). Said ledges (500) are arranged in said groove at preset spacing P complying with the condition 0.75≤P≤10L, where L is the ledge length along central axis of the groove extending along the groove width centre. Distance (DL) in direction over the tread width from the end of the breaker shortest ply to the groove central line (WL) makes at least 200 mm.
EFFECT: reduced tire overheating, hence longer life.
