FIELD: tires.

SUBSTANCE: at first, an incomplete tire blank – a module – is made. Blank includes all tire elements without tread. Carcass with bead rings and sidewalls is assembled, carcass is formed, layers of breaker, base layer, tread in the form of annular workpiece are applied. Moulding and vulcanisation are performed. Tread is made in the form of an annular tread blank located in a metal shell. Shell with annular tread is pre-installed in tire mould, in which tire-module is installed, and its moulding is performed till full contact with inner surface of annular tread blank in shell. Further, heat carrier in the form of steam or superheated water is supplied to the vulcanisation diaphragm and the tire vulcanisation cycle is performed.

EFFECT: higher uniformity and durability of a tire.
