SUBSTANCE: what is presented is using Zincatran (a complex of tris-(2-hydroxyethyl)amine and zinc bis-(2-methylphenoxy-acetate)) as a hypolipidemic and antiatherosclerotic agent.
EFFECT: new antiatherosclerotic medicinal agent possesses higher efficacy as compared to trecresan in a dose, which is five times less than a dose of trecresan; if administered in a continuous manner, it enables to avoid side effects.
