FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of the coupling rod and the coupling rod thus made. Claimed coupling rod comprises the hollow body (1) with the end coupling element (5, 9) arranged at the rod every end. Claimed process consists in that the solid element (P) is produced with said hollow body and the first end section (M) meant for the formation of one of said end coupling elements. Then, the opposite end of said hollow body (19) is connected with the second section (5) to make the second of said coupling elements. Note here that said second section has the bore (21) for access to the inner side of said hollow body (19). Note that final inspection and/or machining of said coupling zone (23) from inside of the body via said bore (21) are performed.
EFFECT: decreased weight, maximum quality and reliability of claimed coupling.
