FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining formaldehyde-containing urea in method for obtaining melamine by urea pyrolysis, as well as to method for obtaining melamine by pyrolysis of formaldehyde-containing urea.
EFFECT: application of formaldehyde-containing urea as initial material in melamine obtaining method makes it possible to obtain melamine, used to produce final products, possessing higher whiteness and/or brightness, high resistance to ageing; and said characteristics can be obtained with lower consumption of dyes and/or other additives, such as, for instance, titanium dioxide TiO2.
