FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: connecting terminal for electric wires includes insulating housing with two inputs for insulation-free wire ends, located on opposite sides of length of body and shifted upwards and downwards relative to axis of its length. Contact insert is located inside a housing, consisting of a clamping plate of sheet spring steel and common for all points of squeezing bus is made from material with high electric conductivity. Bus is made in form of a narrow rod and is located in middle part of insulated case along its length. Clamping plate has a straight or slightly curved shape of top and bottom parts. Clamping plate is fitted on bus perpendicular or at an angle by means of which is in middle part of a clamping plate through hole width and height equal to or slightly larger cross section of bus. In top and bottom parts of clamping plates are made by cutting or punching spring lugs. Base of lower spring lug is connected to lower edge area of a clamping plate and its free end formed by lower side of through-hole in clamping plate, looking in direction of bus. Base of upper spring lug is connected with top edge area of clamping plate and its free end formed by upper side through-hole in clamping plate, also looking in direction of bus.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of design of connecting terminals, capable of connecting wires to a device on both sides.
