SUBSTANCE: for treatment and prophylaxis of natural infections in a cat the composition is used, comprising a recombinant feline interferon in a therapeutically active concentration. Interferon used as the active component relates to a family of nonglycosylated interferons of omega type. The proposed composition provides a pronounced therapeutic effect with respect to natural common diseases of cats, such as panleukopenia, feline calicivirosis, herpesvirus rhinotracheitis, chlamydiosis, mycoplasmosis, presented in the form of mono- and in the form of mixed infections.
EFFECT: reduction of term of treatment of the animal.
