FIELD: motor car construction.

SUBSTANCE: wiper lever (1) comprises mounting head (2) fitted on drive pin (3) and lever element (4) articulated with said mounting head (2) by pivoting pin (5). Lever element (4) can turn between the wiping position whereat said lever element (4) extends parallel with the windshield to be wiped and raised position whereat element (4) and/or wiper brush secured to said lever element can be repaired or replaced. Said lever element (4) is provided with means (17, 18) to lock said element (4) on pivoting pin (5) to prevent the engagement of said element with pivoting pin (5) at lever element raised position. Said locking means are composed of the ledge (17) on pivoting pin flat lower surface (10). With the lever element (4) at wiping position, the lever (17) extends downward from pivoting pin (5) to windshield to be wiped to lock said pin (5) in recesses (12) to prevent the engagement of said element with pivoting pin (5) at lever element (4) raised position.

EFFECT: higher reliability and safety of the joint between mounting head and wiper lever.
