FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to navigation equipment, namely to methods of strapdown inertial navigation of small-size of moving objects. Method of strapdown inertial navigation consists in the fact that the mobile object are micromechanical gyroscopes and accelerometers, their sensitivity axis is oriented relative to three orthogonal axes, then gyroscopes angular speed vector projection is measured with accelerometers-vector projection active acceleration on the axis of the object coordinates obtained output signals are filtered and the navigation parameters and parameters of orientation, includes a sequence of actions, at that the mobile object are n tetrads micromechanical gyroscopes and n tetrads of micromechanical accelerometers arranged sensitivity axes along the diagonal of the cube one mechanical base, faces of which is oriented parallel to the orthogonal axes of the object, and the measured output signals of tetrads converted in a projection of signals acting on orthogonal coordinate system of the object.

EFFECT: reduced measurement errors of a set used in the method of micromechanical sensitive elements.
