FIELD: salvage operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire-fighting equipment and can be used at industrial and civil facilities with an increased fire hazard for localization of fire hazards, as well as for effective fire extinguishing in production premises using automatic fire-fighting systems. This is achieved by the fact that a sprinkler, comprising a housing, a sprayer and an element triggered automatically in response to excess of preset temperature in the room; the housing is made in the form of a cylindrical sleeve with openings on its side surface, while on one end of the cylindrical sleeve facing the sprayer, there is a partition; at that, the sprayer is made in the form of a socket formed by a part of the spherical surface with thickness "s", in which there are made radial slots. Note here, that the socket is attached to the end surface of the sleeve by means of at least two arcs arranged along a conical surface, while the upper part of these arcs is fixed to the partition, and attached to the lower part of which is a socket being a part of the spherical surface confined by inner and outer hemispheres and having thickness "s", located whithin the range of 1÷5 mm; at that, the centre of the hemispheres is located on the line connecting axes of the cylindrical sleeve and the axis of partition, while on the spherical surface, on its outer side, there are made at least three grooves axes of which are located on radial with respect to the hemisphere lines, and in the peripheral part of the hemisphere there are made at least three throttling holes, centres of which lie in the plane parallel to the center plane of the hemisphere, which is perpendicular to the axis of the cylindrical sleeve, and axes of which intersect at the point located on the axis of the cylindrical sleeve and make an acute angle to this axis in the plane of drawing.
EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of fire extinguishing due to introduction of the sprayer which enables to obtain a fine flow of fire extinguishing liquid or foaming agent solution.
