FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler contains a housing, a spraying device and an automatic activation element for exceeded specified room temperature. The body is made in the form of a straight case with windows on its lateral surface. At one end of the straight case, facing the spraying device, a partition is disposed. The spraying device is designed as a socket formed by the part of spherical surface and in which radial slots are made. The socket is attached to the end surface of the case by means of at least two arcs arranged along a conical surface. The upper part of the arcs is fixed on the partition. A socket is attached to the lower part of the partition. It is a part of the spherical surface, bounded by the inner and outer hemispheres. The hemispheres center lies on the line, joining the straight case axes and the partition axis. On the outer side of the spherical surface at least three grooves are made. Their axes are located on the lines, which are radial with respect to the hemisphere. At least three orifice holes are made in the peripheral part of the hemisphere, the centers of which lie in a plane parallel to the diametral plane of the hemisphere, which is perpendicular to the axis of the straight case. The axes of the orifice holes intersect at a point lying on the axis of the straight case and form an acute angle with this axis in the plane of the drawing. The holes, made on the lateral surface of the straight case, are made throttling with a screw thread. The direction of the screw thread in the orifice holes is made with alternating left and right directions.

EFFECT: increase of the fire-fighting effectiveness by means of introducing the spraying device, which allows to obtain a finely-dispersed flow of fire-extinguishing liquid or a foaming agent solution.
