SUBSTANCE: water purification method is realised using the water purification system which includes a water purification unit 1, comprising at least one recycling unit 5 consisting of a source water container 7, a recycling line 8 and a valve system 10, and a filtering unit 6 consisting of at least one fine water purification device 11, a water feed line 12 from the source water container to the fine water purification device. The water purification unit 1 is connected to a source water unit 2, a water purification unit 3 and pressure generating means 4, configured to generate pressure in the recycling unit 5 using the energy of a compressed gas. The water purification unit is configured to perform the three-step water filtering cycle, which is carried out while enabling the return of all drainage water into the purification system until the end of the water filtering cycle with continuous recycling while maintaining high water flow rate while enabling the control of the rate of feeding water into the water filtering unit from the water recycling unit, while directly feeding drainage water through the recycling line to the source water container from the fine water purification device under pressure with the continuous movement of the source water and the drainage water.
EFFECT: design of the novel energy-efficient method and system for purifying a liquid, which improve the energy efficiency of purifying the liquid while simultaneously improving the degree of purity and utilisation of the source water.
